Awwww, Tomy, you're all tugging at our heartstrings with these wee little cellphone-controlled microcars. Looks like
the "Putica" miniature cars have already been out, and they're adding the whole infrared phone control thing because
honestly, it was a glaring omission in the first place. For some reason the target market on this is female high school
students. Who knew?

"Putica" means "Little Whore" in Spanish.

I know for a fact that I had that plane as a kid. The wings did something...fold back a little bit I think. All I can really remember is chewing on that little guy so much I wore the paint off. Maybe it was lead paint, that would sure explain a lot. I'll bet they weren't cell-phone controlled back then though.
I second ECM - the first two are blatant rip offs from disney cartoons.
I'd say Elias Guanchez and summerblink are both right. In Spanish, "-ita/-ito" is the usual diminutive modifier. However, in Colombia, it can be "-ica/ico." For example, "a very little bit" is usually "un poquitito". In Colombia, you would say "un poquitico". Hence, both right.

tex avery rocks! I love this stuff but there is no way i'm buying a Little Whore(rofl i wish i knew Spanish).
It'll do just fine as most of them will identify with the name and find it appropriate and suiting.
I'd say someone has a problem, or maybe they just need to grow up. Keep your a$$H0le comments to yourself please.

Sorry, the great Tex Avery had nothing to so with these designs. All three are from Disney Cartoons; Susie the Little Blue Coupe, Pedro the Aeroplane, and Casey Junior from Dumbo. I'm fairly certain that Bill Peet was responsible for character design on those projects. Tex was busy at Warner Bros.
Infrared sucks they should have added Bluetooth.
