palmOne's NicePalm?

The link is dead now, but for at least a little while there palmOne/Palm had a listing for a new handheld called the
"NicePalm" up on its Dutch online store. Anyone know what this might be?

If they release a product called NicePalm they really are doomed.
My best guess, it would be sexy handheld than Zire 21 with wifi as people come in Starbucks Coffee and look at me.. "Hey! ....Nice!"

Definitely strange, it was down when I wrote the post and I had to grab the image from the Google cache.
If you pay attention, its not handheld name in first row, its "family" name.
They consider lifedrive belongs to nicepalm family as T5 belongs to tungsten family...
Yup, it's entirely possible that NicePalm is just Palm's dutch branding for the LifeDrive.
yepp, it seems NicePalm is what "MobileManager" is in english...
That's certainly a plausible explanation, but why would palmOne subsume the LifeDrive under another brand name (especially one that's so odd), and then only do that in the Dutch market? All of the other "family" names are shared with the products in the line, like the Tungsten T5 and Zire 72. It'd make sense if they simply decided to call the LifeDrive the "NicePalm" in the Netherlands, but would they call it the "NicePalm LifeDrive"? Not saying this isn't the case, just if it is, it's a little weird.
Its prob just another version of the lifedrive for another market.
Well, in the NicePalm vs. LifeDrive and if they are one in the same, go to that link in #4's post. Both options are available for selection.... so if you could pick NicePalm or LifeDrive, that says to me that they are two different flavors of Palm.
Who knows what it is. Curious minds would like to know.

It´s a family name, so far with only one member.
Looks like the cat may be outta the bag on the Nice Palm! Great photo and some details: Dual processor, well supported, stable and very mobile. This would be great to take to the pool, beach etc. This makes for an interesting summer at PalmOne!

No - look how the listboxes for other products are organised. The initial entry in the box is the family name (Treo, Tungsten, Zire) - it doesn't correspond to an actual product. E.g. you pull down the 'Tungsten' listbox & see E, E2 and T5 in there underneath the line that says just 'Tungsten'. So the initial assumption is correct - NicePalm is the family which currently only contains the LifeDrive.
Although oddly, the family names at the top of that page & elsewhere in the Dutch language site all say LifeDrive. So the site's inconsistent.
So you guys think it is in the LifeDrive name right? Have you guys ever tried the language option on the website, like slecting English. Yes it is in fact the Lifedrive, so no new Palm for a while....(or should I say NicePalm)
