Tamagotchi overlords poised to invade cellphones
Over in Japan, Tamagotchis had long ago
learned how to speak cellphone, which apparently resulted
in some serious miscegenation because Bandai America is now coming out with a Tamagotchi that lives wholly inside your
mobile (Ghost in the Cell? We had to, we had to…). The new mobile version of the nauseatingly popular virtual pet toy
of yore (does 1996 count as "yore"?) is set to take over roll out this summer, and will also include a
bunch of new features such as a journal mode to keep track of your "parenting" endeavors and a facts feature so you can
get to know your pet's "personality." But the best part is that this Tamagotchi version is more resilient than the
originals, and can stand as much prolonged neglect as you lavish on your real pets. Did we say that out loud?

The first post crap of yore which ruined FuckedCompany.com is cropping up here more than necessary. Would the Admins please stop the madness before we see pedophilic, racist, obscene, and other related entirely off-topic comments?

You guys should check out the Tamagothi. It's been around for many years. You can read about it on the website and download a shockwave game to play here: http://www.studiohunty.com/tamagothi/
Depending on how you treat your Tamagothi he grows up as different things. Here's a good quote from the website:
"If you give your Perkygothi WAY too much Speed, and turn the Lights on and off very quickly, creating a "stroboscopic" effect, then you may end up with a "Raver". Ravers are not actually a type of Tamagothi at all, but they are the horrible end result of a Perkygothi gone wrong. Fortunately, Ravers have an extremely short lifespan, because the color display, and the loud "WOOP WOOP!!" noise that they make quickly burns out the electronics of your Tamagothi, rendering it nothing more than a useless piece of plastic. Better luck next time!"
