More trouble for Xybernaut as board members split

We'd still like to think there's hope for Xybernaut, which makes thin-client tablet PCs. But the company, which lost both its CEO and its Nasdaq listing, is really starting to look like a sinking ship. Latest to bail are board members Martin Eric Weisberg and James J. Ralabate, along with R&D chief Edwin Vogt, who reportedly offered to leave the board, but hasn't submitted his resignation yet. Board members come and go all the time, especially when a company's trying to recover from reported improprieties. If Vogt ditches, however, it might be time to tune up the violins.
