DLO's Flexible Dock for iPod shuffle
Ah yes, another iPod shuffle dock. For you poor sods afflicted with recessed or tightly-spaced USB ports, this $19.99 accessory from Digital Lifestyle Outfitters can cure what ails you. It's a 7-inch flexible gooseneck cable with a regular USB plug at one end and a connection port for the shuffle on the other, designed to hold the player upright next to your screen — which makes this seem more handy for laptop users than desktop users, unless you've got a machine with front-facing USB ports.

You could also buy USB extension cables at $0.99 a pop off of eBay and save yourself some money for other overpriced iPod accessories.

The majority of desktops these days have front-facing USB ports, after all.

I dont see the point. If you have front facing, you just use the built in usb connecter. But, if you have your laptop, why f*** would you need the stupid ipod shuffle? If you used your laptop at home, you would not want to settle for something flimsy like that. Totally useless.

Ummm... Sheero? You can disconnect the iPod shuffle from your laptop and use it to listen to music.
It's actually quite useful.
