US modular announces a storage bump to 100GB
for their iScreen Media Fusion personal media player. At under $500, that's a lot of bits per buck. However, you give
up a lot as the player only supports MPEG-4 video (no DiVX or XViD), JPG photos, and MP3 and RM music due to built-in
RealOne Player. Oh, and it's a bit on the fugly side of wretched looking don't ya think? We'd rather opt for the larger
and more expensive (and same 100GB storage) Archos AV700
or the feature-rich (at similar dimensions and price)

GREAT price for 100-GB! Similar models are $200 more ... also, contrary to what some wrote, I spoke with the company and it DOES support divx and xvid - you just simply download the free players for these formats and you're good to go!

What is wrong with these people?? All they need to do is marry a PocketPC to a HUGE harddrive and BAM, you got yourself the ultimate portable Multimedia-machine/PDA!
I guess at least Palm is getting a clue and doing that with the Lifedrive. But serious, is 4GB's big enough for ANYONE these days?
Of course, without a cellphone attachment or plugin card, I still wouldn't carry one around. I can barely carry my PSP and cellphone at the same time without resorting to my nerdy camera bag. I certainly couldn't add another large brick to the mix.
Maybe one of these days somebody will get a *clue* and put all of these gadgets into one device that can handle Music, Cellphone, Video, and games, AND also have enough space to actually make it worthwhile. Like 20GB's or better. These Smart cellphones are close, but just lack adequate space.

Nice job ripping the "RealOne" trademark symbol from RealNetworks for their UI. If I still worked for Real I'd sick the lawyer dogs on 'em.
