ELAC NXT Singing Pictures
They've already turned
cardboard and your laptop's
LCD display into speakers, now NXT (in cahoots with ELAC)
is taking it to Warhol. The 'singing pictures' use Distributed Mode Loudspeaker (DML) technology to excite the picture
panels thereby producing sound in a range not usually achieved by flat panel speaker systems (or so they say). Art work
from Aagaard to Zund is available (via poster-shop.com) for lamination onto the 50x40-cm or 70x50-cm panels. No mention
of price, but then again, if you have to ask…

This isn't a new idea, there were a few companies doing this about 8 years ago!
Yea, this was one of the first uses of the NXT panels when they were originally demoed. Is it time warp Tuesday and no one told me?
Yeah. Don't forget about the singing plants :)
