Philips GoGear SA178 digital audio player
We managed to get hands-on this afternoon with the SA178, Philips' latest digital audio player (you might remember that last month a very similar version of this turned up called the SA177), which has 512MB of memory, a two-color OLED screen, an integrated FM tuner, and support for playback of MP3 and WMA files. You can already tell from the pics that it's small, but it's also pretty damn light (not sure exactly what it weighs, since the press releases omits that info) and the screen was crisp and easy to read. Should hit stores in August with a retail price of $119.

SWEET!! I wonder how much the 1 gig will cost... IF they come out with the 1 gig, that is... I still love my shuffle, but props to the hypnotic blue OLED letters!!
That is pretty slick. Please give it away tomorrow. :-D
That is quite Snazzy. Just imagine if it had the word "ipod" on it, and it had the apple controlers, this would sell like hotcakes.
here is a link with the 179 (1GB model)
I already buyed an 178 so I will never have the 1gb model. but u can now.
