palmOne to roll out two GPS units
Just in time for those summer road trips, palmOne will roll out
two new GPS options this July and August. The GPS Car Kit, available in August, will be compatible with the Tungsten E2
and T5 handhelds, and will include TomTom Navigator 5 software, a built-in speaker and a power adaptor. Pricing is set
at $250, with a $100 rebate available to customers who purchase both the GPS kit and an E2 at the same time. Also
debuting this summer will be a new version of the palmOne GPS Navigator, which will work with the LifeDrive, Treo 650
and Tungsten E2 and T5 handhelds. The GPS Navigator is expected to be available in July at a price of $250.

The current pic shows GPS software on a T3. Is the new software / GPS kit compatible with the T3 as well?
TomTom has had their Navigator 5 software listed as "coming soon" for many months now. It will be great for them to finally release it. It will also be nice if they update their website to show the proper PDA models it will be compatible with.
Good - Great - Grand! Now just hurry up and release the TomTom Rider already ... I'm dying to spend my hard earned money on that little sucker ... they just keep teasing me!
