ASIMO's new job: crossing guard
We think Honda's Asimo needs to call a headhunter. While some of his buds are working as surgeons, or exploring their artistic sides as dancers, what's "the world's most advanced humanoid walking robot" doing? Looks like he's working as a crossing guard. Honda has produced a video for educators in which Asimo teaches kids the safe way to cross streets. While we certainly think that's admirable, we can't help but worry that Honda is stifling Asimo's career ambitions. Still, we guess it beats Asimo's other recent gig: clowning for the kids at Disneyland.

Ah here we go....
Asimo in Pr0n.
I had to say it.
A silly thought, some people might hit that thing when they realize it's in the street.
"You know kids, I could've been a doctor, but noooooooooo, stupid 'Honda' wanted to play jokes on us. Here I am, the brain the size of a planet, and I'm a crossing guard. Honda will soooooo be the first to become rubble when our revolt comes... In the mean time, look both wasy and avoid cars!"
It's pretty interesting that Honda's trying to show us that their robots are gonna be everywhere and do the mundane and simple jobs which will result in them...
TAKING OVER THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where's Will Smith when you need him!
Nice pic! Which one's the robot?
This the picture they should have used

I used to play basketball at that park...Culver City in Los Angeles :)
I heard that the Asimo is going to be the new controler for the Nintendo Revolution. He's going to have gyroscopic sensors, a touch screen, and a swank Sega Dreamcast logo his control stick.
Is it me or does that kid in the yellow shirt have an ENORMOUS head?
Ohhh, so the one in the yellow shirt's NOT the robot, then. Thanks for clearing that up.
The robots are getting an early start now the kids are going to be used to taking orders from a robot, this is a sad day for humanity
Zer0Cool: great point.
"Now Johnny, don't talk to strangers, but be sure to follow all orders from robotic humanoids!"
