Geek your barbecue
Alright carnivores, gather round — we've got just the article for you. If you relish the sheer joy of minding the grill and timing your cooking to the nearest nanosecond, skip this — but if you want to add a little automation to your next barbecue, give the Read link a peep. It'll detail a design for a computerized horizontal smoker with a small control system to tend the fire for you, bringing whatever meaty goodness you've got cookin' to the perfect state of done-itude. It'll free you up to spend that little extra quality time with the keg.

Uh...
Bad News...
The BBQ Smoker Fan Controller has already been invented.
And it's wireless with a remote that you can use in your living room & connect to your PC to chart your temps & upload the graphs to your web page (while you are at work!)
In development... a web interface that lets you modify the remote settings from anywhere on earth via the internet.
