Qool Labs' QDA-PocketPC
They swear they're not abandoning the Palm OS, but Qool Labs, the company behind the
QDA-700 (aka the first Palm-powered
smartphone to break the megapixel barrier), is diving into Windows Mobile with their first Pocket PC Phone. Due out
later this year, the QDA-Pocket PC will be a tri-band GSM/GPRS handset and run on either Windows Mobile 2003 SE or
Windows Mobile 5.0 and have a 1.3 megapixel camera, 2.8-inch QVGA LCD screen, Bluetooth, and a miniSD memory card
slot.

Wow that thing is small! It appears to be a little thicker than the I-Mate Jam, but narrower by a decent margin. I want one!

Yes, it runs Access. Yes, it runs Excel. Yes, it runs Word. Yes, it runs a Terminal Services client. Hell, it even runs an SSH client.

While some of these are pretty stripped-down versions of the "real thing", it does run all of these apps, even if most users never will.

why o WHY are these things Always GSM based?? Why can't these come out in CDMA more often? We do a "a" GSM provider here, but they are the worst around for covereage etc....
sucks! ... PS, PocketPC kicks ass, Palm OS is a glorified rolodex in comparison :)
