RCA RS2052 Digital Music Studio converts your CDs to portables without a computer

RCA bookshelf unit

RCA is busting out this bookshelf audio system that will rip your CDs and transfer them to a portable player without the need for a computer intermediary. It's aptly named the 'Rip & Go' Digital Music Studio, which includes a dock for a portable MP3 player — just insert discs into the 5-disc changer, press record, and tracks get automagically transferred to your player. The unit actually includes a 128MB RCA flash player, and audio content is tranferred via USB connection — although they don't explicitly say, we imagine it should work with any other DAP supporting USB 2.0, as well. It's available currently at Best Buy for a retail price of about $179.
