Batman's Shakespeare bust
We never really did get the significance of Bruce Wayne's choice of Shakespeare as his Batcave entry device-as opposed to Sherlock Holmes or some other cliché-but no way in hell is that going to stop us from tipping our hats to this $300 "working" replica of the device from the 60s classic. And no, we're not making any "Holy ___!" jokes, but you're welcome to in the comments.

Shame neither this page or the linked one have links to order.
I guess it would be cool if you could remotly open a door...but $300?! Ill just buy a second Xbox360 thank you very much ;)

...when you push back the head, the switch basically just controls a power outlet. we had it connected to a lamp on the front desk.

Hube: If you click on "one of these" in the first sentence of the post Engadget links to, it does indeed take you to an order form.
Enjoy, if you decide to make use of said order form.
How is this tech related?
it's on Amazon too.
It plugs in to SOMETHING doesn't it Nate?! That's all the reason we need... :)

C'mon, you *really* don't get it? It's pretty obvious (really, I'm not joking :-).
But seriously, thank you for reminding me that my condo's decore simply will not be complete until it's been appointed with a bust or two. Really (again, not joking). Now, the only remaining question is who's bust to choose? Maybe Batman?...
