Sony LCDs feature light sensor
Not only do we need to read our press releases better, but the user manuals too. We were just reviewing the User Guide on the new Sony KLV-S32A10 LCD set and realized that this HDTV has a built in light sensor. The factory default is OFF for the sensor, but when you turn it to ON, the sensor adjusts the brightness control to compensate for ambient light. We think that rocks because we're tired of turning the brightness down in the daytime only to turn it back up at night for prime-time HD programming! This feature is available on the smaller sets in this series also, which includes the 26-, 23- and 19-inch models.
