So this is a legitimate product? I would think that it should come to North America first but I suppose it's a hell of a lot easier to sell in Asia since it's such an undertaking to get carriers to pick up new phone models.

I have two friends who would buy that phone RIGHT NOW if it were CDMA or GSM.

Side note - can you use any CDMA phone on MetroPCS? I'm not familiar with their policies regarding phones you don't buy through them. My first guess would be "no" though.

my mother is a Mickey Mouse F-R-E-A-K. even if it won't work here, she will still want it. actually though, i read another article that said it would be GSM, so it should work on Cingular and TMobile, no?
