Gamers: do you watch less HDTV?
Two of our sister blogs, Joystiq and TV Squad, have some interesting news on gaming and television watching. Apparently, gamers are watching less TV these days, but we're wondering about the high-definition viewing impact. Maybe folks are gaming more because they don't have super-sharp HDTV programming to watch. Maybe HDTV viewers are gaming less because high-def programming is finally starting to take root.
Are you one of the gamers that watched 25% less television last year? Better yet, here's a twist. Are you gaming less because you're watching HDTV more than ever before? I know I haven't broken out my Xbox that much in the past year because there is more and more great HDTV programming to watch.
