Just what we need — yet another device to remind us that we need to get out and exercise more… or ever, really. Researchers at MIT have developed software for the Aibo that will allow it to monitor your bathroom scale, pedometer and a personal organizer keeping track of your daily food intake. When you don't follow your prescribed diet, Aibo will act accordingly by playing a dirge or flopping down on the ground. If you're good, Aibo will jump, flash colored lights and play music to reward you. This'll be officially announced at a conference in Tokyo on September 11 — because in Japan, the dog walks you.
