Sony Ericsson's HBH-608 Bluetooth headset
Before worrying about making their already minuscule Bluetooth headsets any smaller, perhaps they should concern
themselves with making the damned things adjustable and ergonomic for more than just a few ears. That said,
Sony Ericsson's pimping their new HBH-608
as a VoIP solution in conjunction with their new BX series
laptops we saw a couple days ago. Ok, we're kind of feeling that angle, but let's stick to the message here:
tiny Bluetooth headset, aw yeah. Ahem.

Perhaps designers of this headset could make it possible to use outside of the office. Namely wind is a great problem that only very very few manufacturers have tackled with any success.
It is unnaceptable to have headsets that can not handle usage in the field.

Totally agree with #1. These tiny BT headsets stink outdoors, and my biggest complaint is lack of volume. Over 55Mph in car and you seriously almost have to switch back to the handset to hear someone properly.

I agree with you guys about the volume. I have the Motorola H somthing (the $99 one) and the volume does not go very high at all. I am always asking people to speak up. I don't understand why they cannot provide more volume.

For just a tad more money, though, you can get the same quality, but with the LCD screen. I recently posted a review of the HBH-662 on my blog. http://mobileoptimized.com/Blog.html#HBH662

I dunno never had a problem with my Jabra bluetooth headset.
Never had a problem being heard out doors (even when breezy), and as for volume... the Jabra can actually be too loud if you're not careful.

Does "pimping out" include making the caller ID display wide enough to show the whole phone number without scrolling it? Or even (drum roll) the caller's name?
I have one of these and that's my only real gripe.
I guess pimps ain't what they used to be.
