Yet another Panasonic announcment
plasmas have been all the news this week by dropping their plasmas up to a $1,000, bring out 4 new models including that bad-ass 65-inch 1080p model, and then saying that they are going to triple the amount of plasmas in Europe. Today they are showing off their new 8th generation professional series. All the models feature improved brightness, a new cabinet design, and lower prices. They are a tad different then their best selling Veria line though.
Panasonic allows the owners of this line of plasma to upgrade them to their liking. There are 10 different boards that can be added to the TV. The coolest upgrade path is adding the touch screen ability. 65-inch touch screen plasma! Sweet.
The price starts at $1,899 for ED and $2,999 for HD. They will be available early September.
