This is the third rev of Fisher-Price's combination learning tool/fun toy handheld for kids. The Pixter Multi-Media system is focused on creativity, with a color touch screen for scribbling pictures and completing puzzles. It ships with an assortment of games and activities, and is expandable via eight $20 video cartridges. At about $90, the NYTimes pronounces it a score as a drawing and learning device, but if you're looking for a more dedicated video player, you might want to go with one of the kid-geared portable DVD options.
