I have mixed feelings about Panasonic. On the one hand, we have a 21 yo microwave from them that still works and cooks our food for us. On the other hand, I wondered how "brilliant" their engineers were after they put a photo viewer function on a plasma display. I thought the whole reason video games warned us of pausing our games for long periods of time is that a lot of TVs (such as plasma TVs) were subject to image burn.
However, this seems like a cool product and if I had a need for a portable DVD burner, I would probably put this on my Christmas Wishlist.
