odd-i reveals 20GB P10 PMP with 2 megapixel camera
Although this is a universally-known postulate, let us nevertheless reiterate Engadget Law #612: Electronics manufacturers will not rest until the ratio of personal media players to people on Earth approaches one. Strangely-named Korean firm odd-i is bringing us another step closer to that glorious day of total PMP penetration with their 20GB P10, an attractive device sporting a 4-inch screen and built-in 2 megapixel camera. The P10 can handle a whole slew of formats such as MPEG-1/4, Xvid, DiVx, WMV, MP3, WMA, OGG and AC3. Other sweet features include direct-from-TV recording, eBook reader and voice recorder, and the ability to act as a USB 2.0 host.

This thing looks quite nice. PSP-ish screen and resolution, with no restrictions on playback, and a full 20 gigs to play with. At a halfway decent price, I'd buy it, but it will probably never see the shores of the U.S., sadly.
The usb host function is ill, My girl can watch this and I can use it to store AND transfer thing's to my PSP to watch, SOLD!
Is it just me or do electronics always seem to cost less when they go to America? (I live in Korea + UK commuting back and forth once a year)
a1210, its just simple supply and demand. theres more people in the US, so demand is greater.to meet that demand, companies produce more, so supply increases and then we get a lower price.
This... this is exactly what I'm looking for. PLEASE bring these over here. This is the perfect device mostly.
Perfect. Couldn't be better. usb host, playback of everything, recording, and finally a cam. would buy it if under $500. Please come to the us or import!
This is what the Neuros 442 looks to be after they finish the open source version. I do like the looks of this better though
What is the recording resolution? I hope it is full D1. Cif is just the same old song.
Sweet.
Where is I can buy this device?
