Voodoo's Envy a:228, in the pink
Nice to see these AMD Turion notebooks really
hitting the streets (albeit a little quietly). Voodoo actually dropped their new Envy a:228 mini-laptop a couple of
weeks ago to little media fanfare (which we have a feeling has something to do with the fact that most probably didn't
realize you can get it in "powder pink"). Formed a bit like a Vaio S, the a:228 has a 12.1-inch 1280 x 800 display, a
4-pound, 1-inch thick body, and said Turion with up to 2GB of RAM. His n' hers models start at about two
thousand.

Please don't tell me they're going blue for boys and pink for girls... they are?
This is obviously the msi s270 barebook in a fancy colored case. Buy the original instead, lots of webshops let you customize it, it's probably a lot cheaper and it's black.
With that said, I wouldn't buy it at all, after what I heard there's acpi and noise problems with it, just like with the S260 (pentium m, otherwise close to identical). If you read my site you'll see all the problems I had with it... It's pretty, but has a lot of issues.
I'll buy just about anything in PINK! :)
i love pink, but they have to realise the hottest, brightest, most candy coloured shade of pink is really a bad option and will get sickening fast.
you have to tone it down a bit to make it last
