Seagrand releases X-Nine PMP
Another company that we've never heard of, Japan-based Seagrand, is releasing another PMP that we will never get to play with. The new X-Nine personal media player sports the usual assortment of goodies we've come to expect from this category: a 20GB hard drive, 2.2-inch TFT LCD, FM tuner, direct-recording from audio and video sources, and of course a photo viewer and voice recorder. Nothing really excites us here in terms of design or functions, except for the X-Nine's USB 2.0 host capability, a feature that always seems to be a crowd-pleaser.
