Movetech's GTC Gran Turismo Cockpit

Designed and engineered in Italy for, um, maximum performance, the Movetech GTC Gran Turismo Cockpit isn't exactly anything we haven't seen before, except it won't cost you thousands of dollars and it's a bit more on the convertible/BYO tip. As in, the thing transforms from an office chair into a kind of oddly shaped desk to a bring-your-own steering wheel and pedals racing cockpit. Expect to drop €350 (about $425 US) on this fine Italian racer; just don't run it in reverse right out the back of your dad's garage, ok?

Hmmm, I can really see myself in this in Andora, going down a black line slope. At least it wont cost an arm and a leg.

The negative space between the seat and steering column would be perfect for dropping a ramjet into. Quick! Sombody 911 hack-a-day!

I'm pretty limited as to what sites I can visit while @work, so I can't really get a good look at it.
Do you guys think it would accomodate (with some work) a Steel Battalion set-up?
If anyone knows where you can get something for S-B, let me know. I've seen two on the internet...one was made of wood and looked kinda' lame. The other was REALLY low to the ground and therefore looked uncomfortable and making it necessary to look UP at your tv.
that is too frickin' cool. it's screaming for a sidecar... though i think i'll hack one out of pvc piping.

Looks pretty nifty, although it's not the sort of thing I would buy personally, although I once made a lounge suite using the leather seats from an old Volvo.
Needs a passenger seat for my date.
Ugh.. It still doesn't have a clutch pedal.. It's too bad none of the gameing wheels have a clutch these days.

the act labs has a gated shifter, meaning you shift in a H pattern, not sequential. and includes a clutch.
i would only buy somethng that includes a clutch and gated shifter. other then that it isnt too much more realistic without it.
