PodGear PocketParty speakers for iPod nano
If you've already picked up an
iPod nano and want to be able to share your tunes, fret not.
The first of what's bound to be a major onslaught of speaker systems designed for the nano has arrived, in the form of
PodGear's $45 PocketParty for the nano. Don't expect this little guy to shake any walls, though. With its 1 watt,
AA-powered speaker system, this is definitely more of a toy to let you listen to podcasts in your living room
than to DJ with at your kegger.

Yes, thank you for telling me that iPod is loved because itll let you carry around your whole music collection, because, you know, we couldnt do that with any other mp3 player on the market.
And you say i can use lossless?! OH GOLLY GEE. Because i cant do that with any other player, but i can use Ogg Vorbis ;)this is kind of useless anyway, most people rip at 128kb/ps or less, with only a small amount of people knowing how to change it let alone want to.
A harddrive? HOW INNOVATIVE. nuff said.
I wish flawless performance would include gapless playback. I dont know where technology is ahead of it time, the clickwheel is nice and all, but its not worth giving up sound quality, Janus support, so many features, and just better stuff. and the touch wheel, although innovative, is not really much of a technological advance, id prefer to tap the click down, or taking my finger of the wheel to enter, it kinda defeats the purpose of having a wheel. Ah well, its still doing great, people will still defend it with their lives, and this isnt doing any good because #1 is spam.

ENOUGH WITH THE IPOD CRAP!!!!
Why don't you just rename the sight En-Ipod!
Or how about this, just have a "sister" site with just this kind of IPOD CRAP.
Or is it that there is nothing to report so you just torture us with iPod Logs and endless speaker variants.

I'd have to agree with pspimp. I'm fairly over this whole iPod thing, bring on the next craze.

iPod Rocks. I dont mind reading on all the cool trinkets on iPods... cause I own one. Engadget has it right to inform people on what they want.
You guys dont own iPods do you?
Dvshadow @ Dec 19th 2005 1:37AM
guys, think about what your saying, the NUMBER ONE mp3 player on the market selling more than TWICE the number of mp3 players? i definitly think the ipod deserves a place on engadget.
awwww, dont feel bad if you dont have one.
(ps, just a touch of cinisim - i get one because i get them half price through a number of discounts)
