Doggles Wearable Ionizer lets dogs breathe easy
So let's review; we've now seen the following products that people are using to torture improve the lives of
their dogs: cellphone,
translator,
ultrasonic calming radio,
social networking collar,
texting-bark-identifier,
electronic tag,
digital camera, and
wireless infrared cam. With all this gear dragging him
down, Rover certainly deserves to breathe the freshest air possible (that is, if he isn't already dying of
radiation exposure), and that's where
the Doggles Wearable Ionizer comes in. From the same company that brought us those clever goggles for dogs (Doggles,
get it?), the Ionizer works like any home version (by making airborne particles heavy enough to drop to the ground),
except it gets clipped to Rover's collar. So now while he's busy answering your texts and phone calls, taking pictures
of table legs and poop, and trying to communicate his intense dislike of you, your dog's lungs will always be filled
with crisp, clean, germ-free air.

I found that these make the air worse and put out 03 (ozone) poor puppies.
i could care less about a doggie "ionizer." i don't have one and i seem fine. i'm just really happy that they used an APBT in the picture. "Pit Bulls" are great dogs who have gotten a bad rap because of what people have decided to do with them.
Didn't consumer reports and others prove that some of these devices are actually dangerous and create toxic O3 (ozone)...
I'd put a big fat WARNING on the article...
LOL....that's one hilarious writeup :-D
Hey engadget, lay off the sarcasm, just because your dog can't figure out the T-9 predictive text on his cell phone doesn't mean ALL dogs are tech-illiterate, sheesh..
My little Scrapps, for example, has a great photo blog of his many ventures afar.
Of course I'll still never put a soap-on-a-rope look-a-like air freshener around his neck.
Oh, yipee, now my dog can breathe cleaner air than me. Why do dogs always get this cool stuff. I don't even have a cellphone yet and dogs can get one. (There was a Popular Science magazine that had all kinds of gadgets for dogs.)
A dog experiences the world through smell. If airborne particles are prevented from reaching the dog, how is this going to effect it's sence of smell?
This is just beyond stupid.
Are you joking, these things lick their own balls
