The Luxpro Pico and i-Ota

What's cooler than cool? Ice cold. What's smaller than nano? Pico, dude (oh, and i-Ota, get it?). And if there's any
one company we can not only count on to knock
off the nano and actually dodge Apple's shiny white silver bullet at this point, it's
Luxpro, progenitors of the original iPod shuffle
knockoff, the Tangent. And while the Pico may not have Apple's locked-up-tight
Samsung NAND flash supply chain, they're
still shooting for the ambitiously miniscule size the nano—if they actually get it out of vector-mockup status, that
is. So does that mean Apple's going to have to throw down with the next smaller scientific term and bust out the iPod
femto? Quick, someone register that domain before it's too late.

where does Luxpro get these sweet design? I really think these could change the DAP market as we know it...
Been waiting for this ;-) Got my tangent and it rocks. I lock knock offs. I wonder if the screen is better and wont crack.. maybe thats the trade off!
Three hundred and forty two points for the song reference.
The first thing I thought of when I saw Pico was pico and nano for Linux and how they're both basically the exact same thing.
The thing I like abou the Asian electronic market is that unlike the companies in America, they are willing to make products that follow a Function Over Form design - stuffing all the codecs and playback goodies you could want in an equivalent product to the same garbage we get here in the US.
I've lived in China and Japan and I love the way their markets and suppliers present their products.
I hate apple and their bullshit "less is what you get" policy. I would gladly buy this PICO over a NANO. If the Pico had video playback, that wouldn't be bad either.

Apparently, millions of people disagree with you.
On a different note, I think Apple should come out with the iPod Pico just to tick Luxpro off.
"Quick, someone register that domain before it’s too late."
I am sure Creative is already at it.

Wow. An imaginary product with no actual way to build it. Reminds me of the "PitrPod Zepto":

If they called it the iPod Femto i fear some people may get the wrong idea and keep it in an altogether different pocket....
Now where was the news story about that Korean lady and the stuck cellphone again?.....
throw down with the next smaller scientific term and bust out the iPod femto?
Better yet the opposite direction, how about the Tera? The size of earth and unlimited storage capacity? Ya know for the penis envy crowd...
Isn't "femto" the thing that lady gymnasts get?
i agree with what QUANTUMPHYSICS - XboxLive had to say. apple tries to take an elitist approach with everything and comes out really short on functionality. people, think about their UI...i think i have said enough...

This SI naming system has gone too far. Unless your product has nano-engineered components (traditional lithography does not count) you have no right to use that name.
Wow ... what a splendid idea ... how did they ever come up with it?
Duhhh ... Apple-wannabees
looks like a nano to me
