Jungsoft Muzio JMH-1000 4GB DAP
Jungsoft has announced a compact hard drive-based DAP with 4GB of storage, USB 2.0, and an attractive 1.5-inch color OLED display. The Muzio JMH-1000 can handle MP3, WMA, OGG, and ASF music formats along with MPEG1/2 video files, and is compatible with USB host devices. Not too many notables here, other than the dual-headphone jacks and pitch control for matching beats in your head. Also no word on pricing or availability, but since we'll never see one anyway, we're not too concerned.
Update: Good call, intrepid readers. We brought this product to you a ways back, as you can see here. Hey, mistakes happen.

There should be a seperate blog for these so we don't have to hear about every last one of them.

Uhm, we sold those things vor about a year over hear ;-)
Well, we didn't sell many of them, actually.. but we put them up for sale, at least.

hmm... better than a nano? nope.
i'm not an apple fanboy, i've never owned an ipod, but i can't see any mp3 player with a 5gig or less hard drive surviving. flash is just so much better. i really wish some of these other companies would start introducing some high capacity flash daps. until they do, 4gig hard drives are not news.

@Kyle, it's not really new anyways. 4 GB Microdrive was still kinda cool when this was introduced.. that just shows how old this thing is ;)

I second that.

What does pitch control mean?? Is it the same as contriling the speed of playback?
If it is I could so use one of those. I can't move off of tape until I have something that can control the speed of playback.
