Nokia begins shipping the N70 3G musicphone

n70 small

Nokia is finally shipping the N70 music playin' 3G cellphone we told you about in April. This do-it-all hottie sports a slide-activiated 2 megapixel camera with flash and dedicated shutter key and second, front camera for video calling; the RealPlayer media app supporting MP3, AAC, MPEG-4, JPEG, and the rest; integrated FM tuner with support for Visual Radio; MMC memory expansion to store your tunes and pics; and the usual list of Nokia smartphone apps for browsing the web or syncing with your calendar, email (with MS Office, pdf, 3gp, jpg attachment support), to do lists, etc. While it features Bluetooth 2.0, it does not list support for A2DP or AVRCP profiles so you'll be stuck with tethered headphones if you want to jam out in stereo. Oh and this is a W-CDMA phone so you won't be 3G'n (yet) in The States — an EDGE version is anticipated later. Expect to pay about £250 (€370) once you track one down.
