Links to PSP formatted subway maps for other cities around the world have been dribbling in since Thursday's story about that PSP NYC subway map, so we figured we'd post a few of them up. Let us know if there any others out there and we'll add them to the list.

Well in some parts of the world. If you take you're PSP to work out where you are you will get mugged.
amnesia, the London Underground maps are available on the transport for london page as pdfs. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tube/maps/ These can easily be converted to jpg for the PSP. (Tip: if you just want to paste the map into paint/photoshop/whatever to save as jpg, zoom out, select the area wanted with the snapshot tool, ignore any messages, zoom in to desired level, right click and select Copy Selected Graphic)

I can't view saved gifs (well the London tube map anyway) on my PSP (fine in the browser), anyone know how to do this? It says unsupported format, gif is fairly standard isn't it?!

Just wonder who's willing to pull out a PSP on a Subway? Maybe The Tube in London but, American's I hope your willing to be beaten for your PSP. I hope your armed. A cool Idea anyway.

(note, I realize that this is about "intellectual property" but couldn't resist making a stupid joke.)
Speaking of, could the weather forecasters sue you for infringing their IP rights when you use a weather-widget or otherwise redistribute their "intellectual property"? (weather forecasts don't make themselves...Putting all that info together everyday is -someone's- bread and butter!)

The subway maps of Hong Kong are at the top of each cart's door, and the maps tell you the train's current location as well, so they're actually more useful than JPGs on your PSP.

The Boston one is out of date. There is now a Silver Line that's been up and running for over a year now.

They're in PDF format so should be easy to convert with a tool like PDF2PSP.

The one for Oslo is very outdated.. at least the subways.
It would be nice to have one for Montreal.
They'll be hit with a cease and desist from the MTA very soon. Just like the guy who did this for the iPod.
Why not store these on your cell phone or your digital camera?
I don't know about you, but when I visit a new town, I'm usually taking pictures, not playing my lousy PSP.
With the Sydney map, it is at 96 dpi... Making it 72 dpi is more friendly with the PSP.

this doesn't work for me- i tried to upload the nyc one, and it comes up 3/4 grey on my psp. i have v. 1.5, could that have something to do with it?
