TMSUK's "service robot" carries your bags while you shop

Remember the robot that gassed Junichiro Koizumi-san,
the Japanese PM? Well, now the company that made it, TMSUK, wants to give you a hand shopping with their new prototype
RFID-enabled shopping assistant robot. Basically it's just a machine that follows you around and pitches in by carrying
your heavy bags around as you cruise the Fukuoka airport mall in Japan. How long until we can get a mod so that if
you're a dude, it'll help you remember that plaid AND stripes = 0, stripes AND dots = 1?

yea, that's money well spent....I'd rather buy all the xbox 360 games i could with that money

From the sounda of it, SOAD, it will be a publically available thing (or possibly a rentable thing) within that shopping center.

So your saying $1000 is not a good buy for a robot that has potential to have software upgrades and hacking uses? You do realize how much more potential this robot has right? Plus why buy all the xbox360 games? Most of them are crap looking anyway. Just get a ps3 or revolution at least then you know you won't buy games for a destined to be dead console :D
As for #6... I'm not a dudette therefor a husband wouldn't do any good lol. Think about the target audience instead of the usual lazy americans... Think old people, people with arthiritus, people with back problems, handicap people etc... For the avergage consumer this thing would make them even more fat and for people like me willing to explore its internal soul.. well.. let's just say missle launchers pls!
oooookkkk...it sounded like u could buy the robot...but yea, the shopping cart does a good job for me.
