This Ipod is going to be so great. The small screen doesn't bother me it will do perfectly on long car journeys.
Also all you people moaning about unsupported formats. If you can play it on quicktime then unless it is too large a file you can just drag it into Itunes and it will convert the video for you.
Besides, it is so unbelievebly easy to rip a DVD, convert it, and then slice it into lots of little iTunes sized pieces. Just search on Google, I know I'l be uploading my entire DVD collection
i just bought a black 30GB ipod but it hasn't come in yeat. does it come with black cables and headphones too? it better or i'm getting a white one or maybe i'll look at something else. all this talk of other players that are "better" than apple ipod is freaking me out. although i looked at one site and the cost was $100 more than what i paid!
why are half of you moaning about the ipod not being able to carry your 200 gig of music if alll you do is spend your hole day listening to your music then youneed to get a life the hole point of the ipod or other mp3s is to be able to take a music 'selection ' arround with you so instead of buying a mp3 which can carry every song you've had your entire life why dont you just by an small mp3 for taking out and when you get home you'll have your hole selection?
will there be another generation of iPods coming out some time in the near future? i've never had one and now with the color display and video capabilites it's really tempting me. i know i eventually will cave in and buy one, but i'm glad i didn't one earlier. like a first or second, and i was really tempted to get a mini. now i'm glad i didn't because the 5th gens are a lot nicer. i'm just wondering if they come out with 6th gens with better capabilities and more functions. cause once i get one i won't upgrade, but i don't wanna get a 5th gen and see a 6th gen and wish i had one of those instead of a 5th.
soo does anyone know if there will be a 6th gen anytime soon? like a new one for xmas or something?
