Motorola V3X/VX3 sports iTunes
Not sure whether VX3 is a typo or the name of the European version of the phone or what, but Vodafone has what looks
like the Motorola V3X listed
as available next month and as coming with the mobile version of iTunes ("I-Tunes" is definitely a typo). They
also confirm that it'll have a two megapixel camera, memory card slot, and Bluetooth, but we pretty much already knew
all that.
[Thanks, Ed]

where i can i find this image or page?
#1, Er...just click the "Read" link? That's what it's there for ya know...
This is a fake. Has to be. How else do you explain two typos in one ad? Either that or whoever handles Vodafone's graphic design needs to be shot.

visit the official site at vodafone.co.uk, go to the online store, follow the link "Coming Soon", it´s the real deal...
Thats the only page on the whole site. All the other links lead to genuine Vodaphone sites.
Try going to www.vodafone-emailme.co.uk
Seems like they want your email addresses.
Fake.
That was my initial thought, Chris. However, you can access this page directly from Vodafone headquarters.
Go to www.vodafone.com
In the middle of the page you'll see: "Visit your local Vodafone service for everything mobile." Select "United Kingdom" from the drop-box.
Access "Online Store" from the top row of selections at the Vodafone UK website.
At the very bottom of the right hand corner is a section called "Also in store..." Click the "Coming Soon" link.
Okay, so let me get this straight Chris... I go to www.vodafone.co.uk, click on "Online Store", Click on "Coming Soon", underneath the "Also in store website", and I get info about upcoming phones, by someone who has hijacked ther website to put that little page there, so they can get my contract expiry, and contract phone number...etc, so they can scam me? Okay, then....
shoddy spelling but the page is real and belongs to Vodafone
thank god horrible rokr is not the only itunes available, still I love my LG VX8100
The Carphone Warehouse has this phone on their site too.

Oh, how we all love paranoia!
This phone with a Blackberry 7100 style keyboard, and I'd be very happy.
Pardon the rant, but it's frustrating; the 7100 got great reviews and seems pretty popular, I wish RIM would either improve upon it or set it free.
...thanks for your patience,
Not typos...the real deal!!!!
See here!!!
http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/product/details/0,,95,00.html
I highly doubt Motorola themselves would make a typo!!
oops my bad....my own typo...soryy!!
How do I remove a comment?
But it's a Motorola phone!?!?
Why do people like these?
The software will be impossible to use, the bluetooth won't allow syncing or stereo headphone profiles and iTunes will be limited to 100 songs.
Do yourself a favour and buy a Nokia S60 phone or a Sony Ericsson.
I stand corrected. But you have to admit it looked dodgy.
Look at this image closely, the smae image on the vodafone site:
http://www.motorola.com/mot/image/12/12462_MotImage.jpg
On the right side of the navigation buttons, the end call button, and what looks like a web borwser icon, you see that the area is raised, as though Motorola might be hiding an icon that Motorola did't want people to find ouy. itunes button anyone?
oh my god santa.. please please please bring me one of these :)
There has got to be a catch, maybe something along the lines of... a 100 song cap?
US is so behind

Um... I thought that the V3x would be available in the USA?! God, I hate it when I'm WRONG! Man, I've been waiting for this phone and it turns out its EUROPEAN? I thought it was the U.S. version of the V1150!
"The software will be impossible to use"...
I love how trendy it's gotten here to whine about the UI every time the word "Moto" appears...
My Razr isn't by any means impossible to use, and even my mom figured out how to use her v180 without any problem...
Perhaps 'impossible' has too much hyperbole for you but when I buy phones I do a 'bake off' to find how many clicks it takes to make a call from the address book and to send and reply to an sms - you know the things you do a dozen or so times a day at least. Moto just have it so wrong.
Nokia have got worse over the years too since the 7110 I had as they've added two extra clicks into sending an SMS. SE win every time.
It is real, but why didn't Motorola brag about this?
I think it's a huge mistake by Vodafone...
Hmmm...wonder when T-Mobile USA will get this phone. I'd love to ditch Cingular (bastardo destroyers of AT&T Wireless!) and get this decent looking iTunes supporting Moto phone.
It's interesting to note that the Motorola site does not mention iTunes explicitly but does list compatibility for "AAC+" audio files. Presumably that means protected AAC files which could only mean iTunes. Interesting that they don't mention iTunes specifically.
The specs also list MPEG4 video compatibility and heavy video capabilities. Could this have been planned as an iTunes video phone prior to the backlash over the Motorola ROKR iTunes music phone?? If so, and since they don't specifically mention iTunes now, will it work with iTunes videos? Very interesting.
This thing is on pre-order at three different sites for the US. Mobilecityonline, Celluloco and the best price on netfreeze.
Looks like Vodafone have corrected their site... it now no longer mentions "I-Tunes"!
Motorola V3X is the same mobile phone like Motorola Razr V3X or not?
