Yeah, I think the Rev controller will be much better than current console gamepads for FPSs, but will still be a bit short of a mouse on a flat surface (because the mouse will unrealistically stay in one place if you leave it).
Although, if Nintendo has some kind of "anti-shake" technology in place--basically software that'll ignore the subtle shakes--then this could be about as good as a mouse.
Anyway, it'll be very realistic. What's more realistic than pointing a "gun" and pulling a trigger? A real gun would shake slightly, too.
