The Engadget pumpkin
Maybe it's a little early yet, but there's no denying we're hella scary-obsessed enough about technology that
someone equated our site with the holiday of fear. So thanks, Josh, for immortalizing Engadget in pumpkin form; your
creation now joins the ranks of the Engadget logo in
Legos and
cellphones.
P.S. Josh, in a week or two would you please send us a video of you smashing the hell out of this thing? Thx.
Yr pals,
Engadget

Off to look for old gadgets to pummel pumpkin with.

It's not too early; Halloween is only a week away! What's too early are the faux Christmas Trees and decorations my local grocery store started selling 2 week ago.

Well Done Josh, I can't wait to see what you choose to smash or be smashed by your engadget pumkin.
Engadget should talk this guy into adding their logo to his high-tech Halloween lights that you can control and see the changes over the webcam feed on the same page. He was all over the national print and TV news last year for his Christmas lights display. That turned out to be an incredibly complex prank but he is back this year with the real deal.

by the way. Technically, That's not a pumpkin. It's a Jack O'Lantern. A pumpkin is the vegetable and once you carve it, it becomes a Jack o' Lantern. Scary, I know.
