Oct 28: What's on HDTV today

Shallow Grave

What we're watching
:

Hey the HDNet folks are getting into the Halloween spirit too! Way cool since everything is five times as scary in HD (especially an SD signal!). Tune in to HDNet at 8:30 p.m. for "Dead Bodies" in 1080i. Follow that up at 10:30 p.m.with "Shallow Grave." It features Obi-Won Kenobi, I mean Ewan McGregor, in 1080i. I'll bet if he had that lightsaber of his, he could get out that shallow grave!

For a less spooky HD experience, you could always watch the tamer "Ghost Whisperer" on CBS at 8 p.m. This is a 1080i show, so you're only toning down the ghosts, not the resolution. You can stick around for "Threshold" at 9 as well; from the description of this repeat episode, this might be a rebroadcast of the premiere. I'm sure you'll tell me if it's not.

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
