Garmin StreetPilot 2730

Garmin StreetPilot 2730

It's not all that crazy different than the StreetPilot 2720, but Garmin's new StreetPilot 2730 does have one edge over its predecessor: it comes with an integrated XM Radio receiver, so besides being able to listen to satellite radio you can also get real-time traffic and weather data courtesy of XM NavTraffic and XM WX Weather and then use that info to automatically reroute your journey (to get real-time traffic and data with the 2720 you had to use a special external FM tuner which connected to ClearChannel's network). Otherwise the specs are about the same: both come pre-loaded with maps of North America and have a 3.8-inch, WQVGA touch screen display and built-in MP3 player software. Should retail for just under $1300 when it hits the US in December.
