Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"We need a digital camera that can be switched on and fire off that first shot fast. It's not a commonly tracked statistic on any review site, and nobody seems to have this information for every camera. We were hoping other readers could inform us as to what small digital cameras can fire off their first pics in under a second (ideally under half a second). It needs to be small, but mostly, just really quick in operation. Thanks!"
"I suspect he wasn't talking about the loser scamming aspects of Canada. -Scott"
Wow. Nationality had nothing to do with this stupid prank. And the US is overrun with scams, especially online and on TV.
I find it amusing that people immediately call those who did not like this video/prank "Mac fanboys." My annoyance and disappointment in this video has nothing to do with the fact that I enjoy some Apple products. I do have a problem with teenage scammers getting their kicks by wasting money on such a stupid prank.
I'll admit, I was interested at first - the idea had some interesting social commentary. But that was when I thought these people were educated, well-informed folks with a point. If this was done correctly, it might have been as effective as the Neistat Brothers' piece on the iPod's battery.
What this video turned out to be though, was a ridiculous giggle-fest by a group of immature idiots.
