First pics of Samsung's SPH-V8200 eight megapixel phone
You know we would never leave you hanging, dear reader, so here is a pic of Samsung's 8 megapixel
SPH-V8200 cameraphone (you remember, the Korean model
whose seventh generation we might possibly see here in the States in approximately 25 years) that we hit you with
yesterday.

how about a flash?! WHAT THE HELL!!! WHERE IS THE FLASH!
No flash? That sucks...
Sample pictures from the camera? In fact, can anyone point me to sample pictures from any phone that has a more-than-2mp camera? I constantly see these phones announced but never any sample pictures. Somehow I doubt it takes pictures better than the new Nokia or Sony 2.0mp phones with actual good lenses.
wow. all i have to say is ugly. butt ugly. i mean, 8MP is great, but that basically looks like a big black turd with buttons.
#4/ because you didn't look for them

Proof that Korean consumers are just as clueless as we are. I wouldn't buy an 8MP non-DSLR *camera*, let alone a phone. A phonecam with no flash needs all the low-light help it can get, and cramming 8 million noisy pixels onto a tiny sensor isn't going to help. And have fun sending those gigantic picture messages over the air. I'm sure Korean data speeds are better than the krap we put up with here, but still.
The profile reminds me of the Vertu handsets.

I aggree with Scott who posted above. Nikon's D50/D70 is only 6MP, what are they thinking making a 8MP camera phone? Do you really want to take images that big on a phone with a a small sensor and small lens?
to #9 scott: I totally agree with you! I got those 2MP camera cell phone before, and it has special CCD build in (super CCD from fujifilm) and they still SUCKS!!! to me, samsung just try to show off on their number theory. (exp: bigger TV, more mega pixel cell phone...etc). They really need a "groundbreaking" product. Such as new cell phone network, new design, and wider range of product! as you can tell im not a big fan of samsung! i think they really need to learn from US company Motorola, because it doesnt matter how many mega pixel on your cell phone, it doesnt matter your cell phone can play mp3...etc. the look is everything! look @ razr! lack of GUI, camera, music function, but it still a best selling cell phone in the US. (im not pro moto fan here, i hate motorola, because they make some real ugly phone, and the GUI is hard to use, but i love the razr, because it look hot)! Yep! i rater to use 6mp dSLR for the picture, because they are fast, and picture quality still rock and million times better than camera phone! Anyway, dont show us the phone with 8MP, we need to see the result samsung! any pic to show us the picture quality?
