i think what the post means is that samsung is ripping off another phone again, just as with the AmyCall. Now they are rippin off sony ericsson's phone (left) with one of theirs (right)
you guys are idiots, you dont get whos ripping off who here and on the other post, on both people are saying its samsung ripping it off, its not its SAMSUMG its a knock off of a SAMSUNG phone, notice the M and the N genioses, now go back and take back all the idiot comments you guys did on the other knockoff phone engadget post.
this one in particular is a korean manufacturer ripping off sony ericsson, the other was a korean manufacturer ripping off a samsuNg phone. durrrrrr
sorry for being so harsh, but its not that hard people.
you know, thats right, i also forgot to capitalize Korean and put the apostrophe on don't.
please im the last person you want to correct on spelling. and to top it all off, english is not my first language.
anyway, the point was on the phones. clearly it wasnt getting across as i saw many posts on that other post about how bad samsung was. its not their fault. and if you dont like it. pass the blunt to the ni**a on the left....
#4, its not the korean manufacturers that are ripping off sony; its the chinese! as with the previous samsuMg post, this one is also a chinese manufacturer ripping off a big name company product. get your facts straight.
I don't even know why these ripoffs even get any coverage any more. Sometimes these ripoffs even come off of the SAME line in China. This is what we get by farming everything overseas.
What, no the Chinese ripping some one off? Come on now, China is the poster child for ripping every one elses ideas off and spitting out their "clones!" They don't play fair never have and never will!
When are they going to come up with the Hipbottom Sidepunch? or the s500i/s510a? or or favorite the Leo 950?
---
They are justing going to end up crowding out the market with crappy phones and cause an artificial shortage of LCDs, memory, and - well - good phones in the market in general.
---
How about a new mobile service while their at it? C-Mobile anyone?

well, katz, dont leave that kinda racial feedback to other user, that's not cool. For me, im not a big fan of korean product, because they're totally follower of japanese product. (ask EVERY japanese people about how they feel about korean product, lol! FYI, Hyudai sold a little bit over 100 cars in japan 2003 3rd or 4th Q), im not saying they are no good, they are just below industry standard. who care about cell phone! they're easy to make, and very cheap to developed. and who care about the knock off brand pic! it's a pic, its funny, get over it! And to #19 shin, GOOD JOB on your comments! it made my day, LMAO!! (but katz probably dont have chink eye anymore, because he/she is korean, 65% of them got plastic surgeon on the eye area). GO knock-off brand!!!! keep on rippin' make us laugh! because we need that here!!!
I’m sorry but I like these chineese/korean (whatever) rip-offs....depending on the type of product, this means I get a cheaper product that does the same thing!
As far as the quality and durability, I think that’s the responsibility of the consumer....when I buy rip-off stuff I know what im getting and what to expect.
- Keep up the good work clone tech. manufacturers! ;)
Ahhhh.... since offline meeting, I know Samsung employees and native Korean inhabit here engadget for their promotions, so I don't think it's good idea to join this discussion...
But don't you think it's not coincidence that Korea is located next to Japan? DRAM, Flash, LCD... manufacturing technology are all leaked from Japan (Japan got those knowledge from US as well.). Samsung is copy of Sony? Yes. Samsung steal technology? Yes, constantly. Samsung has money and cheap labors to do so!
Who cares. US invested Samsung heavily and now we have their export. That's all.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
I assume this is a Sorny Ericsson?
or Sorry Ericsson??
