Acer's Ferrari LCDs
The relationship between Ferrari and Acer continues, as Acer has announced 19-inch and 20-inch LCDs officially recognized by Ferrari for the Japanese market. Expect to pay a hefty penny for either model, as only 1,000 of each will only be produced. The F-19 is the 19-inch model with SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolution, brightness of 400cd/m2, 500:1 contrast ratio, and response speed of 8ms (grey-to-grey, as is the Japanese tradition). It also features integrated 2W stereo speakers. A 20-inch widescreen model is available with the F-20, which sports WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness, and a 800:1 contrast ratio. The speakers on this model are also kicked up to 5W each (watch out, that wattage has been known to blow people's clothes off). The F-19 is expected to go for around $551 USD, and the F-20 for around $763 USD.

Sad, very sad.
Like car, like screen.
Now all we need is a Ferrari steering wheel controller...
It's funny, I have a 20" widescreen Acer that looks identical to the one if the picture. The only difference is that I don't have a ferrari logo, and the stand isn't red. Oh yeah, and it only cost $460.
Sad cuz you can't afford one. Me and the boys over at Haliburton's place plan on buying the lot of them, natch, and givin some to the Saudi Royal Family.
Yep, gonna give one to each country what operates a terrorist prison on our behalf. First one to show me a finger tip gets the F-20.
huh? we DON'T torture people? Then why do we...? uh...
We are taking the war to the terrorists! God bless Merika!
"...response speed of 8ms"
Hmmm... I thought it'd be faster...
who would want this?
Everything i looked at on that would be awful, because then everything would have a red hue, so i'd be tempted to skew all my work away from red, and would look bad on other montitors.
lame.
@ #4: Michael Moore, your fat friend, invests in Haliburton. :)
Where's $1,500 when I need it...2 of those 20's would look amazing on my desk.
Who is actually making the panel itself? Samsung?
What I really want is a Ferrari with an Acer logo on it.
#5, I think there are some trees outside that need a hug. Get to work.
Too bad it comes with the built-in craptastic speakers. I'd rather have a thinner bezel.
