The Kingmax Super Stick -- World's Thinnest USB Flash Drive
We know how you're all fed up with bloated, oversized USB flash drives, so it's a good thing Kingmax is busting out the Super Stick, a new USB flash drive that's just 39 x 12 x 2mm in size and weighs a mere 5 grams (and comes in sizes from 256MB to 2GB). That's good enough to wrest the title of "World's Thinnest USB Flash Drive" away from PQI's Intelligent Stick, which clocks in at a pudgy 2.8mm.
UPDATE: Snap! Looks like the iDisk Diamond is a hair thinner.

Anyone seen these available for purchase yet? Ran a quick search and couldn't come up with one.
Isn't 2mm about the point where the stick won't make contact with the contacts inside the USB port?
Anyone know where we can buy one, or where we will be able to buy one?
And look, it has a lifetime warranty... I guess that warranty would be about a day... Especially if people go about wearing as ear ring/cellphone charm. If the price is not bad, I wouldn't mind having one.
Good to know the technology is moving, however, the Pretec record hasn't been broken yet. Thus, their iDisk Tiny is shorter than the super sticks (32 х 13.5 х 4.5 мм), whereas the CU Flash, presented by Pretec at Computex are the smallest currently (21 x 1.9 x 1.9 мм), though not produced commercially due to unknown reasons. Back in May company told that they were looking for the right sales channels for their new accessory-Flash product line (http://hpc.ru/lib/arts/2123/).
By the way, one more comment. Here in Taiwan they mostly give lifetime warranty for the memory cards they produce locally. I bought an SD recently, and only one of them, Taiwanese brand, had a lifetime warranty:)
