Toshiba adds gigabeat P5L, P10L flash players
It was nice when Tosiba's gigabeats actually held several gigs of music. But with the almighty Apple declaring that the market has shifted back to lower-capacity flash players, Toshiba has clearly chosen to follow suit, deciding that the giga moniker be more vestigal on the P5L and P10L, which have, respectively, 512MB and 1GB of storage. Both feature support for MP3 and WMA, and include FM tuners and line in, as well as 1.1-inch OLED displays and JPEG support. They're available in black, white and, perhaps just to prove they're not totally aping you-know-who, a Mondrian-like checkerboard of purple, pink, orange and white.

tosiba or toshiba? lower capacity my ass, sounds like that price fixing lawsuit is getting to them.
"Maybe It's Maybelline!"
What they need to do is move the nav-stick up about an inch, and then they can tap into the evangelical market with a limited holy cross edition.
1 gig? Are they insane?
When did Apple declare that the market was shifting back to lower-capacity flash players?
I love my shuffle thank you very much and unless you have hours each day to spend listening to music or encode lossless 1 GB provides more than enough music. Really. I use my shuffle now way more than my 30 gig photo, to say the truth.
