What does an MVNO that has a $1,500 signup fee
and $500 monthly bill get you? Well, for unlimited calling and data, for one, as well as a a new phone every four
months (which could be a good or bad thing, depending on the models offered). That's Voce, the new luxury class MVNO
being launched on Sprint, T-Mobile, and Cingular network capacity. Keep an eye out for what's inevitably next: the
leisure class MVNO sure to offer only offer
Mobiados and
Vertus in regular rotation.

Did I read that as in, you can use any of those wireless services at any time, as in, who ever has better signal? Or when you pay $500 a month, you only get one provider?

Bleh, gotta see how this works out. doesn't sound too interesting really, unless you easily have that kind of disposable income. Don't know of any Japanese-market hardware that would support all those networks plus their different data services...
I'm filthy, stinkin' rich, and I still use a walkie talkie...
Maybe I just don't get it.

Pleasssssse.. no real self respecting millionaire would buy that shit. Their too busy stealing money anf FREE services from the company's they own.
While it will probably work in today's world (I know dog walkers that easily make 6 figures), I am not sure how it addresses the convenience need. I dread having to transfer my data from one phone to the next and to having to figure out all the features. As the president of a cell phone company, I can have any phone I want yet I hold on to mine until they die.
