Personally I feel that any amount of buttons over 3 (right, left, and scroll wheel) kill the ergonomics of a mouse. I bought a Logitech Mediaplay and all I can feel as I play games it the buttons poking into my hand. So my vote goes for less buttons, or making the scroll wheel four buttons (Mediaplay has up, down, left and right that are all seperate for use in games)
