Oddly enough, I find it far easier to make use of all the buttons on my mouse in OSX than in windows - mapping buttons to expose functions is amazingly efficient, especially when working on large projects across two monitors. On my PC, aside from forward/back, the extra buttons are just annoying except in games :)
