The next N-series, N93?
We don't know much about what's going on here, but from our broken translation we can glean that there's another Nokia N-series device out there somewhere — perhaps the successor to the N92? — that appears to have a rather chubby 3 megapixel autofocusing 3x zoom camera, DVB-H functionality, and may also feature HSDPA / UMTS / EDGE, 802.11g, and Bluetooth 1.2. Anyone else seen this thing floating around?

I would love to see the quality check on this badboy. Seems that the arm on only one side would break easily if roughed up a little.
Ehhh will wait for something spectacular!

Interesting.. Thought that Sony had the exclusive contract with Zeiss for their camera lenses. Wonder if there's some sharing going on between them and Nokia.

only DVB-H + HSDPA / UMTS / EDGE, 802.11g, and Bluetooth 1.2 ??? I need my phone to have, at least, one more geek word.

A lot of manufacturers are coming out with Zeiss lenses these days. If sony did have an exclusive contract i guess it ran out
Ciryaquen @ Dec 19th 2005 12:55AM
Actually, it's Nokia who has the exclusive rights for Carl Zeiss lenses in mobile phones.

Bluetooth 1.2 must be a mistake. Every phone I've seen based on Symbian v9 has Bluetooth 2.0 and I don't see why a phone not due out for at least 6 months would not have it.

Bix @ Dec 19th 2005 12:55AM

yes, it will be N93.
not due shortly, though.
think that N92 will be launched in a while (I haven't touched one yet, although I've been at nokia one week ago).
I'll try to get my dirty hands on one as soon as I can.
