Clueless crooks toss gear at cops
Here's today's lesson from
stupid criminals school:
if you're going to go to the trouble of stealing a whole bunch of home electronics gear, don't use the gadgets as
projectiles in a futile effort to get the police off your back. That was the brilliant scheme hatched by a group of
bandits in Australia, who tossed stereos and computers at police during an 84-mile car chase. Needless to say, the
clueless cons were caught, and the two gadget-tossers are now facing charges of assault, in addition to burglary. And,
of course, all of that sweet gear is now roadkill, instead of being available for purchase at a police surplus auction
— which kinda makes us want to enact some vigilante justice right now.

Surplus auction?
how about giving it back to the person/people it was stolen from eh?

if you saw the equipment after the chase you would not even give it to your dog. Aprantly DVD players dont work so well once a cop car has gone flying over it.
The news coverage looked really cool though, gotta love those cop cams :D
